Cattle barge from 1950
The old cattle barge was build for transporting animals to summer grassing areas on the uninhabited islands. Furthermore it would carry goods and used to transport both tractors and combine harvesters (back when they were smaller than today).
The cattle barge is presumably the last of its kind preserved in Denmark and has been carefully restored so that visitors can go out sailing with the old lady.
Go for a sail on the barge and experience the Archipelago seals close up or watch the fantastic bird life. We sail in the shallow part of the Archipelago where the barge has been sailing traditionally.
The price is 2.900 kr. for a 5 hour sail with room for 25 persons.
