Combine a class trip on Strynø with a sailing trip on the old wooden ship Yukon

On board Yukon we move with the wind and the waves. The sails have to be hoisted and later trimmed. We set a course and look out for the wind.  Feelings and Time transform while you are sailing. Back in the harbour the sails have to be struck and the anchor let go. A look to the starry sky before sleep finds its way into the warm bunks.

MONDAY Departure of Yukon at 10:00 in Svendborg harbour

Sailing with Yukon in the Svendborg canal, Langelands belt.

The crew will tell something about the ship, trimming of sails and the most important knots.

Peters Kabys(Smakkecenter) will prepare food while you are on Strynø. you have to do the dishes yourself.

TUESDAY one part of the groups sails with the sea kayaks with an instructor

The other part makes an excursion alongside the coast with a nature guide.

WEDNESDAY time for comfortable get-together.

THURSDAY Departure of Yukon in Strynø harbour at 10:00. with all the luggage.

We sail to Avernakø, where you partly sleep on Yukon(8 bunks) and partly in tents.

Yukon has supplies. You cook and do the dishes together

FRIDAY Arrival in Svendborg at 15:00.

You luggage should contain: Lunchbox for Monday, tents, sleeping bag.

Prize for 20 persons: 50 000,- kr.
